Sullivan's Island

Sullivan's Island is just south of Charleston, SC, bordered on the north by Charleston Harbor and on the south by Isle of Palms.  The island is steeped in history with a number of civil war forts available for tours and a fantastic view of Fort Sumter from the north side beaches.  The iconic lighthouse,built in 1962, stands tall over the beaches and is visible from most parts of the island.  Fantastic restaurants abound adding the the already rich culture of this historical island.
